The game can technically run on mobile, but it's best played on desktop.
Original inspiration was Flight Rising's dragon breeding system because that game has been constantly on my mind since August 2019.

Love this idea and this game!
I'd love to see a list of all the wing shapes, patterns, and colors, or maybe just a butterfly maker. Because I'm a collector by heart.

I love this! Very cute and soothing, and the art is just lovely. It's so much fun to see the subtle variations that can happen with color and pattern and wing shape.
One question, though: I noticed the shape of the lower wings seems to get locked in within the first couple of generations. Once I've chosen a triple-tailed butterfly, for instance, it seems to be impossible to reintroduce single-tailed wings, no matter how many generations I spend breeding with single-tailed parents - and vice versa! Is that the intended behavior?
Oh man thank you for pointing this out! Wings are supposed to have a 50/50 chance of being inherited from parents, so I'm not sure why this is happening I'll look into it!
